Black Base for CAS-ual Fridays

When I saw the challenge for this week at CAS-ual Fridays, an idea came into my head right away. The challenge was to use a black card base. I got some embossing practice in for this one and here's the result!

H2H Sketchy Challenge

I have to say, I really love having these card challenges to keep me inspired and creative. Thanks to all the challenge blogs out there, especially Heart 2 Heart where I play the most. And this week it's a sketch challenge (seen below). I turned it a bit as I wanted to do my owls peeking out with their eyes and it just didn't seem to make as much sense for them to be poking out sideways. Still loving my Hot Diggity stamp set! I'm on a break from all the green (it's such a useful colour!) that is usually in my cards so that's why I picked from CTMH's Stella paper pack.
