Animal Birthday

Made this cute little number for my brother's birthday. It may look like he only turned four but actually he's now 24. Still almost as cute as when he was four though. A fairly simple card that I made with a limited time frame of an hour maybe? Almost unheard of for me - surprised I was able to punch this out! Thanks for stopping by. :)

Blessed and Smiling

I received a card in the mail recently from a good friend of mine. She is one of those friends who I don't see very often and yet when I'm with her, I feel as if nothing has changed between us. She is a fellow book lover with a creative and thoughtful mind. A person who's compassion and strength has always shone through any dark days. I am so glad to have her in my life and her kind words and gift brought a tear to my eye and reminded me once again how insanely lucky I am to have such a wealth of truly amazing friends and family. This card is my thanks to my special friend for being in my life. The stamp set I used is fittingly entitled, Blessed.
